Sweden formally joins Instruct as a full Member

Instruct welcomes Sweden as the latest member of the Research Infrastructure. Funded by the Swedish Research Council, Sweden joins with full membership rights for its national scientists. Sweden bring the Instruct national memberships to 11.

Instruct activities in Sweden will be offered through Swedstruct. Participating infrastructures include the Swedish NMR center, University of Gothenburg, the Macromolecular Crystallography beam line at MAX IV Laboratory, Lund and the Protein Science Facility at Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm. Swedstruct will be a valuable addition to the Instruct infrastructure portfolio.

Instruct Director Professor David Stuart said: "We are very pleased to have Sweden on board in Instruct. The teams at Swestruct are very strong in research and technical development and we look forward to working closely with them to deliver excellent value for Instruct users."
